Nashville, TN (February 1, 2010) - Key of B Productions announces the release of Byron "Mr. Talkbox" Chambers' newest project, My Time. Available February 23rd, the album can be ordered now through a special pre-order campaign at the Mr. Talkbox online store.

Probably most recognized as the newest member of TobyMac’s Diverse City Band and from his guest appearance on the Portable Sounds album, Chambers has a slew of other noteworthy credits under his belt, including touring as *NSYNC’s keyboard player and releasing two solo gospel albums. With the release of My Time, Chambers is eager to embark on a new phase of his career.

“I am so excited about this new record. I am at a different place in life and in music, and this record reflects just that,” says Chambers. “The songs came from real life experiences and I am glad to share that it’s My Time to Shine.”

Chambers had his hand in every aspect of My Time, from producing the project with good friend and co-producer Ivan Santiago, to playing nearly every instrument on the album. He co-wrote all but one song, partnering mainly with his wife, Tamara. And, he collaborated with industry veteran, Bryan Lenox (Michael W. Smith, dcTalk, Rebecca St. James) to mix the project.

“It was an extreme pleasure working with Mr. Talkbox!” Lenox exclaims. “I’m so excited for the world to hear this music. Now I want to put Talkbox in every record I do! It amazes me that Byron plays every instrument with such feeling and soul. Get ready for a gifted young man with a passion for music.”

My Time features several guest appearances from Chambers’ friends, including DJ Maj, MOC and Take 6 member, Khristian Dentley.

Available February 23rd, My Time can be pre-ordered now through Chambers’ online store (http://bit.ly/TboxStore) to receive discounts, an immediate download and exclusive items only offered prior to street date.

“We wanted to show Byron’s fans how much we appreciate them by offering the album at a discounted price and allowing them to purchase limited edition items,” explains Brent Hodkey, President and CEO of Key of B Productions. “The one thing we’re pretty excited about is the package with the engraved Relic pocket watch, like the one featured in the My Time album art. There’s also a ‘Ground Zero’ t-shirt to go along with the single that’s currently at radio.”

Information on the discounts and packages, including the one featuring the engraved pocket watch, can be found at http://bit.ly/TboxStore. Starting February 23rd, the album can also be purchased through iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon.com, as well as at Mr. Talkbox shows.

Beginning his career singing and performing in a gospel group with his father, Byron Chambers soon caught the attention of key industry gatekeepers and garnered a spot playing keys and touring with *NSYNC. From there, he has had the opportunity to play with Britney Spears, Gloria Estefan and Jordan Knight, to name a few. Other highlights from Chambers’ bright career include: doing a guest appearance on O-Town’s “All For Love,” arranging songs for and touring with American Idol Finalist, Danny Gokey, Co writing and arranging Group 1 Crew’s #4 Billboard-charting song, “Movin’,” co-writing and performing on TobyMac’s gold-selling, GRAMMY nominated album Diverse City and doing a guest appearance on the gold-selling album, Portable Sounds, which garnered a Dove award, and a guest appearance on Martha Munizzi’s smash-hit song “Jesus Is The Best Thing,” which he also co-wrote. Additionally, Chambers has released two solo albums to the gospel market.

Chambers will continue to tour as a member of the Diverse City band in addition to performing his own shows. He is currently booking dates for Spring and Summer.
